• Played superbly as running back for Barnstable High School Red Raiders football team this year, scoring four touchdowns.

• Played two seasons of AAU baseball under Coach Jack Toffey.

Lucas is a welcome addition to the Post 206 roster, adding depth in the outfield and speed on the basepaths... has already played football and basketball for Barnstable High School in his first year since transferring from Dennis-Yarmouth in 2009... amiable, hard-working and coachable... a tough player who has had some great success previously on the diamond in AAU baseball under coach Jack Toffey... has a prototypical athletic build.

• Went  2-3 with two RBI and superb, clutch home run in bottom of the seventh inning to tie game at 9-9 vs. Rockland Post 147 (June 27, 2010)

• Ripped opposite-field double in 1-3 performance at the plate vs. Norwell Post 192 (June 16, 2010)

• Hammered pinch-hit double at Lowell Park vs. Hingham Post 120 (June 13, 2010)

• Went 1-4 with RBI vs. Dennis Post 488 at McKeon Field (June 7, 2010)

Barnstable High School  Highlights...

• Had 71 yards rushing in 27-14 victory over Plymouth North High School for the 2009 Red Raiders gridiron 11.
• Scored two touchdowns vs. Durfee in Sept. 11, 2009 season opener last fall.
