Danny has long been a solid two-sport athlete in Barnstable and is well known for his fancy leather-work at the hot corner... has filled a huge hole in the Post 206 infield taking over the third base slot... a solid hitter but even a more solid pitcher who will bear down when the team needs him most... a true student of the game of baseball and a top student in the classroom... has a great sense of humor and is well-liked by his teammates... will not give in easily when the game is on the line... Dan stepped his game up a notch this season at Barnstable High School when he took a promotion to the starting designated hitter slot versus Nauseton May 20, 2011, when he promptly went 2-3 with two RBI to help the Red & White to a 6-0 victory... was a starter this year for the Barnstable High School junior varsity boys basketball team that captured the JV Old Colony League championship bragging rights.

• Went 1-4 with two runs scored and an RBi in tough, 6-5 loss to Dennis Post 488 at McKeon Field (June 7, 2010). • Went 1-3 with double in his first-ever American Legion game at Lowell Park (June 6, 2010) in tough, 3-2 loss... played fantastic defense at third base throughout the entire game. • Went 1-3 vs. Brockton Post 35 (June 15, 2010) and pitched 4 2/3 innings of spectacular relief in tough, 15-14 loss.
