• Named an Old Colony League All-Star in 2010 for the Barnstable High School Red Raiders at third base.

• Has earned eight varsity letters at BHS including three in baseball and three in football and two in indoor track

• Named Co-captain of this year's Red Raider nine

• Named Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 11, 2009 for 6.5 tackles, interception and fumb le recovery vs. Durfee.

• Named Defensive Player of the Week, Oct. 10, 2008 for his performance vs. New Bedford.

• Named Defensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Gloucester on Oct. 4, 2008.

#19—Dave Tierno—3B-RHP — Barnstable H.S.

Dave is a welcome addition to the Post 206 lineup and has long been hailed as one of Barnstable;s top student-athletes on the football field, track and baseball diamond... a superior glove and arm at the hot corner with few rivals in those categories at this level... lightning fast on the basepaths... hopes to walk-on at St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia, PA this fall when he matriculates there after graduating from Barnstable High School this spring... a gutsy, passionate athlete who will accept any role to get the job done... played two years of Senior Babe Ruth before graduating to the fiercely competitive Legion level... could very easily play at the Division III collegiate level.

• Went 2-4 with two runs scored, two RBI and three stolen bases in 18-8 win over Middleboro Post 64 (June 27, 2010)

• Went 2-5 with double and two RBI in big win over Bridgewater Post 203 (June 25, 2010) at Legion Field on the road.

• Went 2-4 with two runs scored and a double vs. Plymouth Post 40 (June 23, 1010)

• Went 2-5 with RBI and two stolen bases vs. Duxbury Post 203 (June 21, 2010).

• Had game-winning RBI in 1-0 win versus top-ranked Bridgewater-Raynham on April 29, 2010.
• Went 2-4 in tough, 3-2 loss vs. Dennis-Yarmouth on May 10, 2010.
• Went 2-4 on May 17, 2010 in solid, 3-2 win over Old Colony League rival Attleboro.
• Went 3-4 with 2 RBI in solid win over Dartmouth on May 27, 2010
• Collected 4 hits and 3 RBI in 19-6 beating of Needham in MIAA Division 1 State Tournament on June 3, 2010.

• Went 2-4 on April 28, 2009 vs. Dartmouth in tough, 10-6 loss.

• Drove in both runs with a clutch single in 2-0 victory over Falmouth on May 5, 2009.

• On May 13, 2009 he went 1-3 with an RBI in solid 3-1 win over top-ranked New Bedford on the road.
