• Named a 2010 District 10 All-Star after hitting .375 with his second straight season of 20-plus hits and leading Barnstable with a 2.05 ERA on the mound and a 2-1 record.

• Everett Walsh Staged stellar all-around performance at the 2010 PerfectGame USA Northeast Underclass showcase, going 2-3 with three stolen bases in the second game including a double and two runs scored while pitching three fantastic innings while striking out two of the first three batters he faced at 81-83 MPH consistently... ranked an 8 out of 10 by PG as a top Division 1 Prospect and potential mid-round draft pick.
• Finished the 2010 campaign with team-leading ERA on the mound of 2.05 and a respectable 2-1 mark in five starts., including win over powerhouse Bridgewater

• Finished second on team in hitting with .377 mark and second in hits (20) in 14 games played in the field (pitchers did not hit this season for Post 206).

• Started  and played in all 19 games for Post 206 last season, batting .356 with 10 RBI.

• Batted .409 for Avon Old Farms this spring. (6 doubles, triple,  HR, 16 RBI)

• Starter in basketball (guard) and football (wide receiver/linebacker)

• Threw first no-hitter at age 13 at Lowell Park versus Springfield AAU

• Turned in stellar  pitching performance on mound vs. top-ranked New Bedford on the road as a freshman at Barnstable High School to pick up the win.

• Played two season for Barnstable AAU Braves baseball club at age 13 and 14.

• Was named captain of Barnstable Silver Bullets football four out of six seasons.

• Was leading tackler in Silver Bullets football for six straight seasons.

• Recipient of prestigious William "Red" Dacey Award

• Has achieved Honor Roll status in each marking period since first grade.

• Only 7th grader at Barnstabnle Middle School to start each game for Barnstable Middle School baseball team.

• Was just one of two 7th grade starters for Barnstable Middle School  Basketball team.

• Led Barnstable Red Raiders 13U AAU Basketball team with 398 points on season and helped team to New England Tournament Championship with five three-pointers in title game.

• Named co-captain of Barnstable Middle School basketball team.

• One of three Barnstable High School freshman to be moved to JV team in 2008-09.

• Was five-time Barnstable Little League all-star

#17— Everett Walsh —CF/LHP Barnstable High

Walsh earned 2011 First Team All-District honors after turning in a 5-1 season on the mound with a team-leading ERA of 2.43... adding to that a a .353 batting average with two home runs and 17 RBI, tied for the team lead in that category... was also tied for team lead in doubles (7)....returned to Post 206 this summer for his third season after transferring back to Barnstable High School from Avon Old Farms  School last fall.... earned varsity letter in football as a sophomore before returning to BHS where he helped lead the BHS Varsity basketball team to its first Old Colony League championship title in 11 years... named a PerfectGame Pre-Season All-American in the spring of 2011... Walsh  finished third on the Post 206 team in hitting in 2010 for the second-straight season, batting .375 and was the team leader in ERA (2.05) with a 2-1 record on the mound.... staged a stellar rookie Legion campaign where he batted .356, was second on the team in hits (21) in 19, 6 doublesgames and third on the team in RBI (10)... transferred from Barnstable High School to Avon Old Farms school (CT) where he helped the Winged Beavers to a Colonial and Founders League Championship title this spring... was first freshman at BHS since 1966 to win a varsity game on the mound in 2009 and batted .500 with 19 RBI in 15 games for JV as a freshman... (7 doubles, triple, HR) also plays football and basketball at Avon Old Farms and was top scorer in basketball for JV in 2009.... carries 3.6 GPA, Honor Roll Student.

•Led Post 206 pitching staff with 2.05 earned run average and 2-1 mark on the mound in 2010.

•Finished  2010 campaign third on the team in hitting with solid .377 clip and second on the team in hits with 20.

•Went 1-3 with two runs scored in win over Whitman Post 22 (July 7, 2010)

•Went 2-3 with single and triple in gutsy performance vs. Duxbury Post 223 (July 5, 2010)

•Turned in one of best pitching performances of season in 5 2/3 innings of work vs. Kngston Post 387 (July 9, 2010), striking out two and allowing just five hits.

•Went 2-2 with two stolen bases and an RBI vs. Rockland Post 147 (July 10, 2010)

•Went 3-4 with two RBI in tough loss to Hanover Post 149 (July 11, 2010).

•Turned in perhaps his best pitching performance of the 2010 campaign in bitter, 6-2 loss to rival Wareham Post 220, going six strong innings, allowing one earned run, striking out five and walking just two. He scattered five hits and got pegged with a no-decision in the effort (June 30, 2010).

•Went 2-4 with double and two RBI vs. Rockland Post 147 (June 27, 2010)

•Went 2-4 with a double and RBI (June 27, 2010) vs. Middleboro Post 64.

• Went 1-3 vs. Plymouth Post 40 (June 23, 2010) at Lowell Park in big win for Post 206.

•Delivered big win on mound for Barnstable with five-inning performance vs. Bridgewater Post 203 on the road (June 25, 2010), tossing five innings, striking out two and allowing just three earned runs on six hits as Post 206 devoured its host, 14-6.

•Went  1-3 in key win over Plymouth Post 40 at Lowell Park (June 23, 2010)

•Went 5 2/3 innings with 4 Ks, 3 BBs and allowed just five hits for two earned runs in key victory on the mound vs. Middleboro Post 64 (June 18, 2010).

•Went 2-5 with two RBI vs Brockton Post 35 (June 15, 2010).

•Went  1-2 with three stolen bases in win over Pembroke Post 143 (June 14 ,2010)

•Went  1-4 in tough loss to Sandwich Post 188 (June 11, 2010).

•Went 1--3 in Post 206's first win of season versus Hingham Post 120 at Lowell Park, with run scored. (june 13, 2010)

•Went 1-2 with (3) stolen bases in solid, 7-5 win over Pembroke Post 143 (June 14, 2010)

•Went 1-3 with double in season-opener vs. Hawkeye A.C and turned in five innings of one-hit ball on the mound at Lowell Park.

•Went 1-4 with double to leadoff five-run inning in tough, 6-5 loss to Dennis Post 488 and played solidly in centerfield.

• 2-3 with RBI in big win over Norwell Post 192 at Lowell Park (7-13-09).

• 2-3 in tough 7-5 loss to Whitman Post 20 on the road and turned in solid complete-game pitching performance.

•1-4 with RBI in tough, 5-4 loss to Hingham on the road.

• 2-3 with 3 RBI in tough loss to Abington Post 112 at McKeon Park.

• 2-5 in tough loss at Lowell Park vs. Brockton Post 35.

•3-4 with 2 RBI in big win vs. defending state champion Hanover Post 149.


Avon Old Farms Highlights...

•Batted .414 as freshman at Avon Old Farms, led JV basketball team in points scored, steals and assists  and in spite of injuries led football in tackles.
