Morrison turned things on this spring at The Salisbury School when he led the pitching staff and was named a First-Team Western New England All-Star ... Alec started in right field for 10 games for Western New England Prep League champion Salisbury School last spring and made eight appearances on the mound... is a top student earning First Honors all three semesters this year.... was a starter in basketball and football for Salisbury as well this season... is expected to step right into a key role for the 2010 Post 206 squad...batted .296 this season for Salisbury... a welcome addition to the Post 206 ballclub... superior positive attitude and "can do" demeanor. Has unparalleled work ethic amongst his teammates... started in right field for good portion of the season in 2010 for Post 206 when he was not on the mound ... he made an immediate impact from the pitcher's mound and promises to be one of District 10's premier hurlers in 2011... opened some eyes belting home run in his first-ever Legion game at McKeon Park in Hyannis.

2010 American Legion Highlights...

•Went 1-3 with huge 2-RBI double in tough, 8-7 loss versus Duxbury Post 223 (July 5, 2010).

•Went 1-3 with double in big win vs. Plymouth Post 40 at Lowell Park (June 23 ,2010)

• Threw five fantastic innings vs. Duxbury Post 203 allowing no walks, struck out 7 batters and allowed just one earned run on six hits - four of them in the first inning. Got the no-decision as game went into extra innings. (June 21, 2010)

• Went 1-3 with an RBI in big win over Middleboro Post 64 (June 18, 2010) His hit proved to be the game-winner.

• Went 1-3 and belted solo home run versus Hawkeye Athletic Club (Brockton) in tough, season-opening loss, 3-2 at Lowell Park in Cotuit. (June 6, 2010)

• Pitched five standout innings (89 pitches) in tough no-decision versus Dennis Post 488 and went 1-3 with double. Had 6 Ks and 3 BBs... (June 7, 2010)

• Staged brilliant pitching performance for first Legion victory on the hill against Hingham Post 120, going 6 2/3 innings, with four Ks, 2 walks and scattering five hits as Post 206 devoured its guests, 10-2 (June 13, 2010)
