#99— Dave McCoubrey—LHP — Barnstable H.S.

Dave has long been projected as one of Barnstable's top lefty pitchers and this summer everything seems to already be coming into place ... joins Legion Post 206 after rock solid 2-1 season for the BHS varsity nine in his first-ever spring as a Red Raider... came back to BHS after freshman year at Nauset Regional High School where he picked up his first varsity letter and victory on the hill... has a ton of potential with the ability to harness it and capitalize on it... a superb addition to the Post 206 pitching staff.

Personal Game Highlights

American Legion Highlights...

• Turned in two strong innings of relief in tough loss to Sandwich Post 188 on June 11, 2010.

• Got first career Legion victory with 5 2/3 innings of rock solid work versus Pembroke Post 143, striking out five, walking four and allowing just six hits.

Barnstable High School  Highlights...

• Picked up 1st varsity win for BHS in 11-1 rout of archrival Falmouth on April 10, 2010.
• Picked up second varsity win on May 25, 2010 in 9-1 rout over Sandwich and went five strong innings with five Ks and just two walks.
